2-Day Introduction to Afro Hair Class

If you want to learn about styling Afro hair and curly hair textures from blow drying to cornrows, this 2-day intensive online course is for you. All skill levels welcome as this course is open to professionals and beginners alike.

• Introduction to Afro and Multi-textured Hair
• Consultations
• Products (what to use, when to use and how to use)
• Tools (combs, brushes, heat styling tools)
• Styling techniques for type 3 and 4 hair (Curly and Kinky Coiled)
• Blow drying & Straightening
• Cornrows
• Maintenance and aftercare

The course provides an intensive grounding in Afro hairdressing skills you will need for working as a stylist.

Each participant will receive a hairdressing kit which includes an afro hair mannequin that will allow them to participate and enable them to continue to practice at home after the training.
