LIVE 2-Day Afro Hair Workshop

Looking to learn more about afro hair and become a more inclusive hair stylist or makeup artist and you need a bit of one-on-one guidance from a reliable professional? Sometimes all it takes to master a new skill is a considerate instructor who knows how to teach at your pace. Having worked with clients such as Pinewood studios, Screen skills, ITV and Reflections, I bring a depth of professional experience and knowledge to those who are eager to expand their minds, talents, and skills. Now is the time for you to get started learning that new skill you have always wanted to master.

On this workshop Tifanny Pierre will cover:

• The science of curly to Afro-hair
• Product Knowledge
• Protection and Care of Afro-textured hair when using heated styling tools
• Curl Definition
• How to Plait and Cornow hair using traditional methods and techniques
• Two-Stranded Twists
• Box braids
• Blow-drying Afro-textured hair
• Styling and Finishing

Requirements for this workshop:

A smile, handful of patience and willingness to learn. You will also need a hair dryer with diffuser, Straighteners, Tail comb, Large Tooth comb, Denman brush, Paddle Brush, Sectioning clips, Water spray. 

Products and Afro hair mannequin will be provided by Tifanny Pierre.

Suitable as a beginners or refreshers class.
